Lesson One

False Gods & Idolatry

Question

Do you just ignore idolatry because of the world?

Answer

Has the world made you numb to idolatry by the abundance of it? Do you not realize that some of the statues on these government buildings in America are of gods and goddesses, which is idolatry? The goddess of Justice sits on top of the U.S. Supreme Court building — one of many statues, and one of many buildings, that have these false idols. This should be a clear sign as to what kind of gods this "Christian" nation was built on. If it were based on the writings and teachings of the Bible, why would the goddess of Justice be there? In the NIV, Acts 28:4 even mentions the goddess Justice:

Acts 28:4 · NIV quoted"…This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live."

The KJV doesn't mention this goddess (tap the reference above to compare). Either way, we see how, in the world we live in today — and in the newer versions of the Bible, some not all — we are introduced to these false gods as if they belong. When Paul was unharmed by the snake, the people of Malta/Melita called Paul a god.

Acts 28:5–6"And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god."

This is an example of how people start making new gods by thinking man has the power to do these things without YAH. They don't realize that it is YAH allowing man to have this power. Acts 28:11 mentions Castor and Pollux, said to be twin gods — another example of other gods and idolatry, which is throughout the Bible. As you see, even by name they mention these gods. So why do they allow the names of these gods to remain in the Bible, but don't allow YAH's name — the Creator's name — to be known? Obviously they are lying and hiding the Truth for a reason, and it's because of how powerful the Truth is.

Acts 14:12–13 even gives a shoutout to Zeus and Hermes — or Jupiter and Mercurius, depending on the version — who they mistake Paul and Barnabas for. But yet they call YAH the Creator by the titles "The Lord" and "God." Wake up, remnant from every nation, and walk in the Truth of the Word!

Lesson Two

Big G & little g

Question

Have I been fooled by Big G and little g?

Answer

Is there really a difference between God and god — or is it simply to keep us from knowing YAH's name? If I tell you, "I spoke to god today," how would you know what god I was talking about, if there are many gods? Then those smart people say, "The god of Israel." Well, do you mean one of the many gods of Israel (the country) today, or even one of the many that wicked Israelites served in their sin in ancient times?

We could keep narrowing it down by trying to figure out which god — or simply call the Creator by His name, YAH, like we call everybody else by their name. When you say "god" out of your mouth, or if anyone does, you and they are the only ones who truly know who you are calling on, or who you think you are calling on. A lot of people think they are calling on YAH — who they call God or The Lord — but they are not, because that is not who they serve. They are calling on some other god, or themselves; because when you do as you want, you serve yourself, and you make yourself a god.

1 John 2:3–4"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

If you know YAH and love YAH, you will keep His commandments. If you don't, and claim to know Him, you are a liar — therefore you serve the father of lies, the Devil. Choose for yourself who it is you serve: YAH and righteousness, and have life; or the Devil, and continue in the lies and sin, and have death.

Deuteronomy 30:19"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

Wake up — call the Creator by His holy name, YAH!

Lesson Three

The Power of the Tongue

Question

How powerful is my tongue?

Answer

As a child, I was taught words weren't that powerful. I was taught a saying: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." I was in for a rude awakening. After studying the Bible for myself, I found out that life and death are in the power of the tongue.

Proverbs 18:21"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

When you don't truly understand the Bible — and how things were spoken into existence — you can be misled as to the true power of the tongue. We use our tongue to call on YAH when we need help, and give Him praise from our tongue, and get results in our righteousness. But then we turn around and curse someone, or take YAH's name in vain, and speak profane words, and somehow expect no evil in return for our unrighteousness.

We should not allow profane words to come from our tongue and our temple — YAH's temple. We cannot defile our temple, and with that same tongue and same temple turn around and praise YAH.

James 3:10"Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be."

YAH wants to reside in us through His spirit, but He cannot reside in a defiled temple. What truly lies in your heart — sin or righteousness, death or life? Your actions and your words speak to what's in your heart, and who it is you serve. Work to tame your tongue, and speak life and not death.

Lesson Four

Fear of YAH vs. Fear of YAH

Statement

Respect and Obey, or Fear and Tremble.

Response
Jeremiah 5:18–19"Nevertheless in those days, saith YAH, I will not make a full end with you. And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth YAH all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's."

YAH's chosen people kept choosing the hard way and serving other gods, showing no respect for YAH and His commands. YAH said He would not completely destroy them — and He has not — but they do wonder why they go through the hardships they go through. They are scattered throughout the world in various places, going through struggles; and for most of them, they think they struggle and were oppressed because of the color of their skin, when actually YAH has put His people in a land that is not theirs, to serve strangers and their gods.

As we wake up to the Truth and apply the scriptures to the right people and the circumstances they would go through, we can all have a better understanding of the world — what is written, and how it applies today. We have to realize the reality of who we serve in these strange lands in this wicked world, and turn away from their ways, and no longer be foolish. The warnings that YAH gives us, I see as YAH throwing jabs at us — like we make jokes about each other — yet the statements are true.

Jeremiah 5:20–21"Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying, Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:"

Like today, we would say, "Are you blind? Do you need some glasses to see?" or "If you can huh, you can hear." Stop acting like you can't see or hear when the Truth is presented to you. This is for YAH's chosen and gentiles both — both of y'all can see what is written and discern — but yet most fear the world and people, instead of fearing YAH, the One who controls it all.

Jeremiah 5:22–25"Fear ye not me? saith YAH: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear YAH, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you."

Wake up, everyone who seeks Truth. Show respect to YAH; obey His Word — so that you do not have to fear YAH and His wrath for your disobedience.

Lesson Five

Why I Call My Creator "god" & "lord"

Question

Why do I call my Creator "god" and "lord"?

Answer

There are multiple reasons for this, but I will give a couple of them for right now. The easiest answer to explain is: because that is what my Bible says, and that's what my pastor, my mama, my daddy, and everybody else ever told me. There is one place in certain versions of the Bible that lets us know our Creator's name.

Psalms 68:4 · KJV / NKJV"Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH / YAH, and rejoice before him."

The KJV says JAH and the NKJV says YAH. The one that says YAH is the correct way to spell it, given that in the ancient Hebrew language there is no "J" — and the letter "J" was not even in the English language until the 15th or 16th century. These are simple, undeniable facts, and easy to look up. But some will rather believe the lie than the Truth.

2 Thessalonians 2:9–10"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

What we have been taught to call YAH are titles. "God" is a title for some thing YAH created — and there are many gods, but only one Creator. "Lord" is also a title; but not only is it a title — in Hebrew it refers to the god baal, which is Satan, the Devil — because these created gods and lords come in many names. These gods and lords are all adverse to our Creator, YAH.

1 Corinthians 8:5–6"For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) but to us there is but one Creator, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Messiah, by whom are all things, and we by him."

Where the Bible says "one God," it should say one Creator; and where it says "one Lord," it should say one Son. We all must learn to come into acknowledgement of the Truth. There is a reason for the lies and deception, that we must not fall victim to, lest we be destroyed.
